The upcoming webinar will focus on
both plasmid DNA (pDNA) and mRNA manufacturing for clinical and commercial
batches. It will begin with an overview of the RNA therapeutics market,
followed by a detailed look at pDNA manufacturing, an essential raw material
for mRNA and viral vector therapies. A generic manufacturing template will be
presented to address key challenges such as high viscosity, shear sensitivity,
and process impurities, along with relevant case studies. The session will then
shift to the use of pDNA in mRNA production, highlighting the unique challenges
of mRNA manufacturing, including the sensitivity of intermediates to
temperature, mechanical stress, and nucleases. Recommendations for overcoming
these challenges across in vitro transcription, purification, and formulation
will also be discussed.
